Measure the income increase of the data entry partner from the survey results

The results of the survey conducted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) showed that Grabbike and Grabcar partners' revenues increased from 113 to 114% after joining Grab.

Grabbike's partners increased by 113 percent to 4 million rupees and GrabCar by 114 percent to 7 million rupees.

For Grabbike, 50% of the partners have an income of between 5 and 5 million RPD after partnership. Previously, only 22% of driving partners had incomes in this range. In addition, 18% of driving partners have revenues of Rp. 5 million to Rp. 7 million after establishing a partnership with Grabbike.

Based on these findings, the SCRS concluded that the majority of Grabbike partners had an income level 135% higher than that of the average informal employer and 208% higher than that of free workers, as indicated the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).

Grabcar

The survey also showed that Grabcar's partners had managed to exceed the average income of the informal sector registered by BPS. Prior to the partnership, the majority of respondents (75%) had incomes below 19 Rp. 5 million. After establishing a partnership, 68% of respondents earn more than the RP. 5000000.

This increase in productivity is due to the fact that capture technology is considered capable of efficiently delivering service users and partner partners. The Grab support platform can reduce driver partner wait times and increase the average number of trips that can be made.

Grabfood

On average, sales of Grabfood's partners in five cities increased by 25% per month after the partnership. The average partner makes sales of 1.85 million rupees a day. This turnover increased by 1.4 million rupees before the partnership with Grab.

The survey also revealed that 52% of trading partners achieved daily sales below Rp. 500,000 per day rose to more than Rp. 500 thousand per day. Grabfood is seen to assist MSME partners in obtaining additional sales of Rs. 11 million per month without additional investment, for example to expand commercial premises.

The survey was conducted among 3,418 respondents from November to December 2019. Respondents were Grab's partners in four Grab business lines. This survey was conducted in five cities in Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan and Makassar.
